Fun Card Ideas for Guys

Looking for fun handmade cards that work for men? Here's some great card making ideas for guys using the Hey Chuck stamp set from Stampin' Up!®️ I love this set because so many of the men in my life aren't into fishing or nature or cars or the typical masculine card. These are more silly and goofy - great dad humor.

Congratulations Card: Something to Crow About

I made this congratulations card during my Thursday Night Live this week. I love this crazy rooster riding a skateboard. 

I started this card by stamping the Rays of Light stamp in Lemon Lolly on a piece of Lemon Lolly to create the sun rays. I added the die-cut sun from Daffodil Delight in front of the stamped background. This and the weathervane die are in the Hey Chuck die set along with the open dies to cut out the images from the stamp set. 

Rise & Shine: It's Your Birthday

The front of this card says Rise & Shine, while the inside says Happy Birthday. This would be a fun birthday card for someone who's not to keen on mornings. Which pretty much sums up everyone in my household. 

Like the other roosters on these sample cards. I started by stamping the image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored it with Stampin' Blends. For this rooster, I used a little light Gray Granite for shading on the body and blended it out with the color lifter to create a white rooster. (Are roosters white? I have no idea!)

Create a Plaid Paper with a Background Stamp

Have you tried Pool Party and Lost Lagoon together? They look amazing, as you can see from this card! I started by stamping the Sketched Plaid background stamp in Lost Lagoon on Pool Party cardstock. 

The circle is die-cut with the Stylish Shapes dies from the Lost Lagoon Cardstock. And I added a few of the Self-Adhesive Solid Gems in Lemon Lolly as an embellishment.
