Fun Coffee Themed Cards with the Latte Love Stamp Set

Are you team coffee or team tea? I didn't drink coffee for years and years, until I did. Now I like a nice cup of coffee, especially in the afternoon. 

To celebrate a love of coffee - although it could easily be tea in your mug - I used the Latte Love stamp set from Stampin' Up!®️ I'll be using this stamp set again at the end of next month for the April Online Card Class. Have you registered yet?

While the Latte Love stamp set has coordinating patterned paper, I chose to pair it with a different one, the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper. I love the fun patterns and colors of this paper!

For this cup, I started by stamping some coffee drips on a piece of the patterned paper. Then, I stamped the mugs in Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon and colored them with Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin' Blends. 

Let's Catch Up with a Handmade Card

In addition to rubber stamps to create the profile view of the mugs, there are also stamps to create a top view so that you can see the beautiful designs in the foam on the coffee. 

I used scraps of the Les Shoppes patterned paper to create a colorful background. The mugs are stamped in Night of Navy and Calypso Coral and colored with Misty Moonlight and light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. 

Highlight the Patterned Paper

I love this design of the patterned paper and wanted to show as much of it as possible while also adding the coffee theme. The little mugs look just like what you'd find in one of these shops.

I used the Latte Love dies to cut out the mugs and coffee. I also used the circle die that cuts out the foam designs you saw in the last card to cut the circle of Balmy Blue cardstock behind the mugs. I stamped a few coffee beans in Early Espresso ink and colored them with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends.
