Masculine Encouragement Card

You're going to laugh at this, but what first drew me to this stamp set was the water stamp that you see here stamped under the ship. I just love the swirly look to it. So gorgeous!

I also love the look of this water paper from the By the Bay DSP pack. To up the watery look, I embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. 

I stamped the helm and cut it out with the coordinating die sets and used it as an embellishment with some silver-threaded twine. 

You're a Treasure!

I turned this ship into a pirate ship, so I wanted to add the suggestion of a treasure map behind the ship. I stamped a piece of Crumb Cake with skulls in Soft Suede. Then, I used my Soft Suede marker to draw some dotted lines. Again, I embossed it with the Painted 3D embossing folder. Finally, I brushed it with a Soft Suede ink pad to age it. I brushed it over the top and on the sides. 

To get the watery look behind this ship, I cut a piece of the By the Bay DSP. It's perfect for creating this ocean scene.

Which Pirate Ship Card do You Prefer?

I made these two pirate ship cards in black, white, and red, but I can't decide which one I like better! What do you think? I love the water at the bottom of the one at the right - it's a little hard to see but it's raised up in the center. But, you can see the ship a little better on the one on the left.
