Supply List for this Get Well Card
The Warmest Hearts stamp set and dies is kind of a hidden treasure in the September-December Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!®️ You may have even just breezed right past it while you looking at the Christmas and Fall stamps and papers. But it is the perfect stamp set for making handmade get well and thank you cards that will cheer up the winter blues!

I shared tips and techniques for using these retro (or trendy?) stamps during this week's Thursday Night Live. If you missed it, check out the replay below along with lots more photos and supply lists! Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Video Tutorial for the Warmest Heart Cards

If you missed my Thursday Night Live YouTube video, you can watch the replay right here of this cardmaking tutorial. I share lots of tips and tricks as I make a couple of handmade cards.
Here's a trendy or maybe retro handmade card using the Warmest Heart stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up! This thank you card features a cute water bottle covered in trendy stickers.
Supply List for this Thank You Card

Fun and Trendy Handmade Thank You Card

It seems like everyone has a water bottled covered with stickers these days. The Warmest Heart stamp set embraces the trend with cut little stamps that you can turn into stickers for the water bottle die-cut.

I stamped the stickers onto Basic White cardstock and colored them Stampin' Write Markers. Then, I used the dies to cut them out and adhered them to a die-cut water bottle. I trimmed the edges so it looks like they wrap around the sides.

And my favorite part of this card might just be the die-cut diamond pattern in Coastal Cabana along the edge of the card base!

Simple Handmade Notecard

While I love the thermos / water bottle in this stamp set, I also just adore the little "sticker" icons. They work great all on their own!

For this card, I started by stamping the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White. I colored them with Stampin' Blends in Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, and Lemon Lolly. Then, I colored around the flowers with Gray Granite to help them pop off the card. I went over the Gray Granite with a Color Lifter to lighten and fuzz out the gray.

I layered the stamped image on more white cardstock including a layer embossed with one of the Basics 3D embossing folders.
Easy handmade floral card using the Warmest Heart stamp set from Stampin' Up! Simple flowers on a white background make for an easy, but elegant handmade card.

Supply List for this Sunny Card

A Card to Warm Up the Winter Blues

I love how simple and sunny this card is! I started by stamping the little sunshine images with Daffodil Delight on Lemon Lolly cardstock. Then, I stamped three rainbows and the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, and Calypso Coral. Like the previous card, I went around the rainbows and the words with Gray Granite Stampin' Blend to help them pop off the page.
