Handmade Fun Fold Card that Holds a Gift Card

Every year, I seem to give more and more gift cards for Christmas, birthday, weddings, and pretty much every occasion. So, I love a good gift card holder, especially if it is also a fun fold card. And I've got a super easy one for you! You can keep these simple or jazz them up as much as you want. 

We made these fun fold cards during this week's Stamp with Me Tuesday. If you missed, watch the replay to see just how easy they cards are to make! 

I have two different sample card ideas for you - a Christmas card idea and a wedding card idea using some new stamps, dies, and patterned paper. Christmas Gift Card Holder

I love the Merriest Moments stamp set and the Painted Christmas patterned paper. I used them a bunch last year and haven't really used them much this year. So, I pulled them out for this fabulous fun fold card. These items will retire in December. 

I used Real Red cardstock for this card and stamped the images in Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizzazz, and Daffodil Delight centers. 

For the thumb hold on the inside of the card, I used the Lasting Label Punch. I just punched one tiny side of the patterned paper to create the fun little hole. 

The section on the middle of this fun fold card is perfect for adding your personal message. Or, if you prefer, you could stamp an additional message or image there.

Fun Fold Wedding Card

I had to break out some of my new stamps and papers from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog to create this fun fold wedding card. I LOVE the new Fancy Flora patterned paper. I'm sure that one of the fabulous designers as Stampin' Up!® actually painted the designs for this paper. Then, they photographed it and turned it into patterned paper. 

The patterned paper is so absolutely gorgeous that I used it for the front section instead of stamping a design like I did for the previous card. I added a stamped sentiment from the NEW Something Fancy stamp set and die-cut it with the Something Fancy dies.  I added a little Linen Thread tied in a bow under the sentiment as an added embellishment.

I cut the thumb notch from the patterned paper with another label die in the Something Fancy die set.

​This fabulous sentiment stamp set coordinates with the Two-Tone Flora stamp set and dies. Together, they are part of the Fancy Flora Suite Collection. 

Because the stamps and patterned paper aren't yet available, they aren't included on the supply list. But you can find the other items needed for this card listed here.
