Handmade Valentine's Cards that are the Bee's Knees

These handmade Valentine's Day cards are the bee's knees! Well, I don't know if I see any knees, but these bees are super cute. All of these cards were made with the Bee Mine suite from the 2024 January-April Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!®️

Video Tutorial for a Handmade Valentine

Here's the replay from Thursday of the video tutorial where I walk you through how to create a handmade Valentine step-by-step. Plus, I shared lots of tips along the way!

Sweet Spring Card

This is the card that I shared during my live video. This could definitely be a Valentine's Day card, but I think you could use it as a general thank you card this spring. 

I started by stamping a field of flowers in Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, and Lemon Lime Twist. Then, I added a bee. For this bee, I stamped the wings on a piece of vellum with Stazon ink. This gives them that slightly translucent quality like an actually wing. 

I love how the punch makes it so easy to punch out the bee and the wings!

Bee Mine Valentine

Here's a little bee bringing a big heart for your Valentine. I started by stamping the bee on a piece of Basic White that I cut with the Stylish Shapes dies. 

I stamped the heart with Sweet Sorbet and punched it out with the Bee Builder punch. The part of the punch that punches the wings also punches the heart. How cool is that?!

Can you tell that the word bubble is punched with the Bee Builder punch as well? Without the bee stamped on it, it makes a great word bubble for this Bee Mine sentiment.

Fun Florals on this Handmade Card

Here's another fun out-of-the box look that I created with the Bee My Valentine stamps. To create these large flowers, I stamped the heart four times in a circle with Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet ink. Then, I cut it out the large flower. For the center, I punched a circle from Daffodil Delight using the Trucking Along stamp set. 

​This floral field is set on a piece of Sweet Sorbet cut with the Scalloped Contours dies. The large flowers combine nicely with the smaller flowers on the Bee Mine patterned paper.

Simple Handmade Card with Patterned Paper

Here is a super simple card using patterned paper from the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper pack. I love these little pots of honey! 

I added a sweet sentiment at the bottom. Then, I stamped two hearts in Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink. I punched them out with the Bee Builder punch and added them to the card front.

To finish this card off, I added two more hearts from the Self-Adhesive Flowers & Hearts pack.
