How to Make a Fun Fold Window Card

These fun tri-fold window cards are so easy and fun to make! You'll find all of the cutting dimensions and supply lists below. 

We made these cards for my Mystery Stamping event last night. Every Tuesday night (except the last Tuesday of the month), I do Mystery Stamping in the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook group and now on YouTube as well. On Monday afternoon, I share the list of supplies that you will need to make a card. Then, during the live event, I give step-by-step instructions on how to make a quick and easy handmade card. Cutting Dimensions for this Fun Fold Card

• Cardstock: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”
• White or vanilla cardstock: 4” x 10 ½”, scored at 5 ¼”
• White or vanilla cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”

I started by stamping the design all over the piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Basic White cardstock with the Artistically Inked stamp set in Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, and Granny Apple Green. Then, I adhered it to the card front and cut a window using the Stitched Rectangle dies.

I laid the folded piece of Basic White inside the card and stamped the sentiment through the window. Then, I stamped the additional images around the outside edges. Finally, I adhered the folded Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

Artfully Layered Window Card

My second card sample uses the Artfully Layered stamp set and the coordinating Tropical Layers dies. I created it in the same way as the first card. I stamped an additional leaf on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and cut it out with the dies. Then, I attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To create green dots, I used my Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color vanilla Classic Matte dots. I love the way that they match the colors in the rest of the card perfectly.

​On the inside of the card, I stamped an additional sentiment and added a few leaves around the lower right corner.

Fancy Fold Card with the Beautiful You Stamp Set

My last card sample uses the Hello Beautiful stamp set. I stamped a random design in Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, Poppy Parade, and Coastal Cabana. I used the coordinating Beautiful Shapes dies to cut a hexagon hole in the front. The die set has a different sizes of hexagons so I was able to cut a hexagon frame to place around the window.

On the inside of the card, I added an additional sentiment and some additional shapes. I love these sentiments! They are so simple and right to the point.
