How to use the Stamparatus for Quick Card Making

​Looking to make card making quicker and easier? The Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! is the answer! Today I have some simple card making ideas using the Pattern Play stamp set. When I checked my birthday calendar for September, I realized that I know a lot of people with birthdays coming up and I will need a lot of birthday card ideas. These clean and simple cards – or CAS cards – are quick to make and the Stamparatus makes it easy to stamp a stack of them. So, on y go! Let’s get stamping.

Doing Hinge-Step Stamping with the Stamparatus

​The Stamparatus is a stamping platform similar to other stamping platforms, but it features two stamping plates that are removable and repositionable. This makes it perfect for hinge-step stamping and the Pattern Play stamp set is made for hinge-step stamping. You’ll notice other stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up! catalog labeled hinge-step as well. You’ll want to watch this card making video showing exactly how to do it, but basically, you stamp once, move the stamping plate, and then stamp again. This creates perfectly aligned stamped images. It’s also great for creating longer lines from short ones. 

Cutting Dimensions for these clean and simple cards

Coastal Cabana cardstock: 8 1/2" x 11"
Melon Mambo cardstock: 3 15/16" x 5 3/16"
Whisper White cardstock: 3 3/4" X 5"

All of the same dimensions and the same color scheme of Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Gorgeous Grape.

This clean and simple card was CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from the 2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog p. 146. There are adorable tags using neutral colors. I used the same layout and put it on a full-sized card and changed the colors to those from the  Brights Collection.
