Easy DIY Winter Card

Now, I give you full permission to throw out the extras in the card kit. If you're the type of person who doesn't want to hang on to things or have a lot of clutter, feel free to just get rid of it! No guilt!

But, I love the little stamp set that comes with the kit and I think it is perfect for making some additional DIY winter cards with a little extra paper and ink.

I used the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper on all of these bonus cards. I pulled the colors of the cardstock and ink directly from the colors in the patterned paper and tried to keep the layers simple!

Easy 5-Minute Handmade Cards

These bonus cards are so easy to make! The Warm Wishes card above uses a Pool Party card base and Pool Party and Blueberry Bushel ink. I punched the piece of Basic White cardstock for the sentiment with the 1 3/4" circle punch.

The Happy Christmas card also pulls the colors directly from the patterned paper. Here I used Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green cardstock and ink as well as a Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends alcohol marker.

Use a Fake Bow for this Simple Handmade Holiday Card

The other simple bonus cards that I made don't have any embellishments, although you can certainly add some! But for this card, I wanted to add just a little something and still keep it easy.

So, I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread into the shape of a bow and taped it to the back of the sentiment. Less bulk and faster!
