Making Hexagons with the Tailored Tag Punch

How do you make hexagons when you don't have a hexagon punch? Use the Tailored Tag punch instead! I had fun making these two cards using hexagons of patterned and glimmer paper, so on y go! Let's get stamping.

To create the hexagons, I cut a strip of Designer Series Paper or Rainbow Glimmer Paper that was 1 3/8" wide. I turned the strip over and drew a light pencil line down the back at the center of the strip (11/16"). Then, I placed the strip in my Tailored Tag punch and lined the top and bottom points up with the pencil line. The sides of the strip don't reach to the edge of the punch. When you punch the paper, you get a hexagon. It's not quite perfect, but it's good enough that you don't really notice once it is on a card.
