Modern Vintage Handmade Cards with the Let's Chat Stamp Set

How can handmade cards be both modern and vintage? When they're made with the Let's Chat stamp set and Flowering Zinnias patterned paper from Stampin' Up!®️ 

It feels a little odd to be calling this phone image vintage since I had one all through my teenage years, but even then it was outdated. Sadly, my rotary phone was not this spectacular shade of orange!

Hello in a Handmade Card

I absolutely love the bright colors of the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper. It's part of a suite of products with the Simply Zinnias stamp set and dies. I don't have the Zinnias bundle yet, but I couldn't wait to play with this gorgeous patterned paper! And it pairs so nicely with the Let's Chat! stamp set.

For this card, I stamped the headset in Pumpkin Pie and cut it out. I stamped the cord - remember those curly cords?! - in Melon Mambo. I layered both on a piece of Lemon Lolly cut with the Nested Essentials dies. 

Hey, it's a handmade card

I love the hey built into the curly phone cord on this stamp image. (My only wish for this set was that there were more words like this!)

The heart stamp in this set fits perfectly in the center of the rotary dia. I stamped it in Melon Mambo on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut it out and added to this Pumpkin Pie phone with a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

February Thank You Card

I love sending out handmade thank you cards to my customers each month! This is the thank you card that I'm sending out to my February customers. 

I cut the Pumpkin Pie with the Dots & Spots die and then layered it on a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I used the Bee Builder punch to punch the heart from Lemon Lolly for the phone on this card. Then, I colored it with a Wink of Stella marker so it sparkles!

I put the handset a little off the cradle to make it look like that phone is really ringing!
