New 2021 January - June Mini Catalog

This weekend, I am attending Stampin' Up!'s virtual convention. It has been a blast seeing stamping demonstrations and hanging out with demonstrator friends online! And one of the best parts, we got a sneak peek at the new 2021 January - June Mini Catalog and were able to pre-purchase the Dragonfly Garden stamp set from the catalog to create make-n-takes during the convention. I don't have a supply list for you, because the stamps aren't currently available, but here are some samples. On y go! Let's get stamping.

These are the three samples we made during the make-n-take. This awesome stamp set has a matching dragonfly punch that matches two of the stamps and some of the matching patterned paper. There are also these cute little ladybug embellishments that you can see on the Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee card. 

There is a Mossy Meadow braided trim in the suite. This is a fun ribbon that you can pull apart to make it look distressed. You can see where I did this on the bow on the card to left. 

The Designer Series Paper has beautiful patterns filled with dandelions and dragonflies. The colors are Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Blackberry Bliss, and Misty Moonlight. 

This stamp set has a companion set that features dandelions - the Garden Wishes stamp set. This beautiful set has a matching die set as well that has some beautiful flower dies that will work without the stamps. 

I loved the make-n-takes so much, that I just kept stamping and created a couple of additional cards.  

In this sample, you can see the wildflower stamp that is included in the Dragonfly Garden stamp set. I added the Bumblebee gingham ribbon with the Mossy Meadow trim. 

I've been wanting to create a collaged or distressed style card lately, and the Dragonfly Garden stamp set seemed like the perfect opportunity.

While I don't have them yet, I'm very excited that Stampin' Up! will begin carrying blending brushes in January. These will be awesome for ink blending for backgrounds or for distress stamping like I did on this next card.

For this card, I stamped the dragonflies with Jet Black Stazon, words with Bumblebee ink, small butterflies or dragonflies with Blackberry Bliss ink, and some wildflowers with Soft Suede ink. Over these stamped images I blended Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, and Blackberry Bliss ink. I also stenciled polka dots with Calypso Coral ink. 

I embossed the dragonfly with black embossing powder, blended Calypso Coral and Bumblebee ink over the top, and punched it with the coordinating punch. 

It's so much fun to just keep layering and layering images. I can't wait for y'all to get your hands on this beautiful stamp set in January! Want it sooner?
