Swinging by to Say Hi to the New Baby

I think this would make such a sweet card for a new baby! I stamped the monkey and branch with Memento ink and colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I used the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper for the background of this card. I love the leafy look and then the yellow plaid adds a nice contrast.

The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock on a piece cut with the Scalloped Contours dies.

Fun Little Monkey Card using the Monkey Punch

This card uses the same basic supplies as the card above, but this time, I also used the Monkey punch. I started by stamping the sentiment and a bed of leaves on Basic White cardstock. Then, on a scrap of Basic White, I stamped the monkey and colored it with Stampin' Blends before punching it out with the punch. I added to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. The heart was stamped on Petal Pink and fussy cut.

More Handmade Cards with the Little Monkey

A couple of months ago, I got together with my upline Jackie Bolhuis for a stamping day at her house. She designed these adorable cards using the Little Monkey stamp set. For this card, the two monkeys were stamped on Pecan Pie and Petal Pink. Then, they were punched with the Monkey Punch and added to the stamped background.

I love how these little monkeys are swinging from the trees with one holding on to the tail of the other. So stinking cute!

One More Sweet Little Monkey Card

Here's one more sweet Little Monkey card for you! This one was a swap card that I received from my friend Jamie Priese. It's so simple and adorable! Again, the monkey was stamped, colored and punched. And of course, a little monkey needs a banana.

I love the way the sentiment is stamped and then cut in pieces to create a little more interest. And of course, the leaves stamped on the Soft Sea Foam backdrop!
