Quick and Easy Card Design with Patterned Paper and a Card Sketch

Looking for an easy way to make quick cards? I have another great card sketch for you today! Card sketches make it so easy to make great cards, especially with patterned paper. 

We used this one for last night's Mystery Stamping in the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook Group. If you've never joined me for Mystery Stamping, I hope you'll try it out soon. Normally, Mystery Stamping happens every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. The next few weeks will be a little switched up, but we'll be back regularly in August. Cutting dimensions for this easy card sketch

• Cardstock: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Cardstock: (2) 1 ¼” x 4 ¾”
• Cardstock: 1 7/16” x 3 3/16”
• Coordinating Cardstock: 1 ¾” x 3 ½”
• Patterned Paper: (2) 1” x 4 ½”
• Coordinating Patterned Paper: 4” x 5 ¼”
• White or Vanilla: 1 ¼” x 3”

​For this card, I combined the Plentiful Plants stamp set with the In the Wild patterned paper. Such a quick and easy card!

Quick birthday card design

This floral card was easy to make! I used the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper with the Dragonfly Garden stamp set. I quickly colored the flowers with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and added a few Matte Black Dots.

Here I used the Pansy Patch Designer Series Paper with the In Bloom stamp set. I added a few Loose Floral Flourishes in Fresh Freesia for a little extra pop on the card front.

Fall card idea

While we're still in middle of summer heat, fall will be here before you know it! This simple fall card uses the Enjoy the Moment stamp set. While I have the stamps in French, they are available in English as well. 

I switched up the card design for this fall card. Instead of the sentiment going across the card, I turned it to be a vertical element. 

I love how the Tidings of Christmas patterned paper matches the Enjoy the Moment stamp set!
