Sometimes you need to make a card quickly. For last night's Mystery Stamping event, we made a great quick card. This card design is a fun twist for a quick and easy card using only stamps, ink, and paper. Plus, it works with a variety of stamps! So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Cutting Dimensions for this easy card design

There are very little supplies used in today's card!
  • Thick Basic White cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White cardstock: 4" x 4 1/2"
That's it!

This sample is stamped with the beautiful To a Wild Rose stamp set. I haven't used this set in a while and I had forgotten just how much I love this set! It's absolutely beautiful!

Steps for completing this Simple Card Idea

This card is so quick and easy to make! All I did was to stamp diagonally across the piece of 4" x 4 1/2". Then, I cut diagonally across the card through the center of the stamped area. Then, Adhere the pieces to your folded card base using Stampin' Dimensionals leaving an area open between them. To finish, stamp a sentiment on the card base between the stamped pieces. That's it! This card can be completed in 5 minutes.

For this sample, I stamped a bunch of leaves from the Love of Leaves stamp set in a Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, and Mossy Meadow.

Stepping this simple card design up a little

While I love the simplicity of white on white, I wanted to see what would happen if I did a little layering with this same card design. So, I used a light color - Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake in my samples - for the card base. I added a darker color for the layer.

For this sample, I used the Handsomely Suited stamp set and colored the fun bowties with Stampin' Blends in Seaside Spray, Purple Posy, Pretty Peacock, and Misty Moonlight.

Cutting Dimensions for this simple Layered Card

Crumb Cake or Seaside Spray: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Early Espresso or Misty Moonlight: 4" x 4 1/2"
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 4"

This cookie card uses the Nothing's Better Than stamp set. I stamped the cookies in Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

I absolutely love how quick and easy this card design is to make!
