Christmas gift card holder ideas using the Tree Angle stamp set and Poinsettia Place patterned paper from Stampin' Up!
With many avoiding stores this holiday season and mailing gifts instead of getting together to celebrate, I think gift cards are going to be more even more popular gift option this year. These unique gift card holders are quick and easy to make. Plus, since they are a card instead of a box, they are easy to mail or tuck under your Christmas tree. Each of these handmade gift card holders uses the same basic design and the new Curvy dies from Stampin' Up! So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Cutting Dimensions for This Easy Gift Card Holder

Cardstock (base): 5 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2"
Patterned Paper (front top): 3 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Patterned Paper (front bottom): 2 1/8" x 5 1/4"
Patterned Paper (inside): 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White (inside): 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"

Christmas Gift Card Holder Ideas

This short video shows the steps for putting this simple gift card holder together. It's easy to do, but you need to know exactly how to position the dies and where to put the adhesive. The gift card slips into the left side of the inside of the card. There is a small piece of Whisper White cardstock on the right where you can write a message and sign your name.

This Christmas gift card holder uses the 'Tis the Season patterned paper. The three pine trees are cut with the Stitched Triangle dies. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder. The stamp is from the Tree Angle stamp set. For a little extra bling, I added star embellishments to the top of the each of the trees.

The second holiday gift card holder uses the Poinsettia Place patterned paper. I cut the poinsettia on the front from the patterned paper and layered it over ribbon from the Trimming the Town Ribbon Combo Pack and the Forever Greenery Ribbon Combo Pack. I tied the Old Olive ribbon in a loopy bow and hid the center of it under the poinsettia.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Merry Moose stamp set with Soft Suede ink.
