Y'all know that I love a good card sketch because they make it easier to make handmade cards quickly. And I've got a great one for you today! It uses lots of patterned paper so it's a great way to show off your gorgeous Designer Series Paper. And the only stamping you need to do is to add a sentiment. Of course, if you want to do more, you can!
These were my sample cards from this week's Mystery Stamping event. Every Tuesday evening at 8pm Eastern, I go live on YouTube for Stamp with Me Tuesday. The theme changes each week between Terrific Techniques, Fabulous Fun Folds, Mystery Stamping, and the Monthly Online Card Class. But, each week, the goal is for you to stamp along with me! If you haven't joined me yet, I hope you'll make plans to join me live next Tuesday night.
I've got the card sketch, complete supply lists, more photos, and a FREE downloadable Quick-Reference Guide for this sketch. So, click that Read More button so you don't miss anything!
Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Easy Handmade Holiday Card
This card uses the Christmas to Remember stamp set and the Celebrate Everything patterned paper from Stampin' Up!® I layered the strips of patterned paper on a piece of Basic Black cardstock and then put it on a Granny Apple Green background. I added a little texture with the Painted Texture embossing folder.
For the sentiment, I cut a tag with the All That dies. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento.
I love patterned paper with big designs, like the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper. Cutting it into the three strips creates an interesting background for this card. Like the card above, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a label cut with the All That dies.
Here's another simple handmade thank you card. Tulips aren't in season right now, but I love the sentiments in the Flowering Tulips stamp set because of their mixed fonts. They are beautiful! And this thank you sentiment fits perfectly on the circle label in the All That die set.
I used the Tea Boutique patterned paper from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog on a Tahitian Tide card base for this fun tea pot thank you card!
The Simply Fabulous stamp set really is simply fabulous! I love the font that is used in this set. It's just so fun!
I combined two different patterned paper packs for this card. The Sweet Sorbet flower pattern is from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper. The Crushed Curry piece is from one of the 6"x6" DSP packs. These come in each of the color collections and for the In Colors. They are great basic tone-on-tone designs that will work with anything!
