Simple Fun Fold Card Design with Patterned Paper

One of my favorite things about Mystery Stamping is using the same card design to create a variety of cards and then seeing how everyone else interpreted the card layout as well. For last night's Mystery Stamping, we created this fun fold card that is kind of like a mini book. I love the way you can see all the different layers when the card is closed! Cutting Dimensions for this Fun Fold Card

• Cardstock: 5 ½” x 7 1/4”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Patterned Paper: 5 ½” x 7 ½”, scored at 4”
• Cardstock: 3 ½” x 3 ½”
• Cardstock: 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
• White or Vanilla: 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
• White or Vanilla: 2 ½” x 2 ½”
• White or Vanilla: 3 ¼” x 5 ¼”

You can see how the folded patterned paper fits inside the folded cardstock. The edges of the larger square show when the card is closed. 

This first card sample uses the Simply Succulents stamp set with the Bloom Where You're Planted patterned paper. I love how this stamp set works with this paper!

Fun Fold Father's Day Card

For this Father's Day Card idea, I used the Handsomely Suited stamp set with the Well Suited patterned paper. For the sentiment on the front, I covered the bottom portion of the sentiment with a piece of washi tape. I inked up the stamp with Jet Black Stazon ink, removed the washi tape, and stamped it on my piece of Basic White cardstock.

For these bowties, I stamped them with Jet Black Stazon ink and used my water painter to color them in. I squished my ink pads on a clear block and then picked up the ink with my water painter to color in the images.

This gorgeous patterned paper will be discontinued at the end of June.

Hello Friend Card Design

I love the bright colors of this card sample! This card idea uses the Pattern Party patterned paper that is available to purchase when you host a Stampin' Up! workshop or place an order of at least $150. It is absolutely gorgeous! One side is all rainbow colors and the other side is black and white patterns. I love it! And it worked fabulously with the Biggest Wish stamp set for this card.
