I have another great card sketch to share with you today for creating quick and easy handmade cards. Two of my sample card designs are simple stamping projects - just stamps, ink, and paper! The other design uses Stampin' Blends alcohol markers for coloring. They are all quick and easy to make though!

These cards were part of this week's stamp with me Tuesday. We did Mystery Stamping this week and it was so much fun! I have a FREE Quick Reference Guide for this card sketch below so that you can save it to use later when making your own cards.

If you missed Mystery Stamping, you can watch the replay. I go live on YouTube every Tuesday and Thursday night at 8pm. Tuesday night we rotate between techniques, Mystery Stamping, fun folds, and card classes. Every Monday afternoon, I share a list of supplies in my Facebook group to make the cards on Tuesday. I hope that you'll make plans to join me next week!

I also have the complete supply lists for these cards below, so be sure to click "Read More." Ok, on y Go! Let's get stamping.

Simple Handmade Card Design

This first sample card is the quickest and easiest to make! It uses the Greatest Journey stamp set and the Enjoy the Journey patterned paper from Stampin' Up!® You'll find all the dimensions for these cards in the Quick Reference Guide.

I started by cutting the rectangle of patterned paper in half from corner to corner. Then, I adhered it to the cardstock layer. For this card, I used Mango Melody and Melon Mambo cardstock and ink.

For the sentiment, I simply stamped the sentiment. Then, I stamped the grass with Parakeet Party. The little flowers are actually stars, but stamped in pink and orange they make perfect little wildflowers.

The sentiment piece is adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals to give it a little extra lift. You could easily add embellishments or ribbon to this card, but I chose to leave it simple. These would be easy to make and there are so many great sentiments in the Greatest Journey stamp set. I'll be using these stamps for the March card class!

Rainy Day Card Design

Have you seen the new Playing in the Rain stamp set? I have to admit that it wasn't my favorite when I first saw it. But since lots of people liked it, I  gave it a chance. I'm so glad that I did! I have been having so much fun playing with these little critters who are playing in the rain. They're so cute!

I combined the stamps with the Rain or Shine patterned paper which is part of a suite of coordinating products. There are also dies, an embossing folder, and embellishments, but I didn't use them for this card.

I colored this adorable fox with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends.

Floral Thank You Card

My last card design using this simple card sketch uses the Sentimental Park stamp set. I paired it with the Flowers & More patterned paper. This paper is the hostess paper from the new 2023 January-April Mini Catalog.

I stamped the flowers in Tahitian Tide and added the outline in Starry Sky. The sentiment is stamped to match. The leaves are Shaded Spruce and the cross-hatching is Sweet Sorbet.

The card is on Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide cardstock to match the patterned paper as well.
