Simply Fabulous Handmade Thank You Cards with an Easy Technique

I really can't get enough of the Simply Fabulous stamp set from Stampin' Up!® Here I've combined it with an easy watercolor technique. I shared how to do this technique for my first card demonstration Instagram reel. Honestly, the reel wasn't great. (I'm still learning!) Fun - and easy - Watercolor Technique

To create the background for my flowers and sentiment, I inked a clear block with So Saffron, Pale Papaya, and Petal Pink ink. Then, I used a Stampin' Spritzer to get the ink wet before stamping it onto Basic White cardstock. It might take a couple of tries to get the look you want, but then it's super easy. And each background turns out a little different!

Finishing this Thank You Card

After I let the background dry a bit, I stamped the sentiment and flowers with Calypso Coral. I added some Mango Melody flowers and Parakeet Party leaves. 

Behind this image, I used Basic White cardstock. I made two different backgrounds and I can't decide which one I like more! For one, I used the Hive 3D embossing folder. For the other, I inked up a flat Water Painter with Calypso Coral ink and splattered it on the Basic White cardstock. Which one do you prefer?
