Sneak Peek at the NEW Country Flowers Stamp Set

Normally, things with "country" in the name aren't my cup of tea, but I've found that I'm in LOVE with the Country Flowers stamp set from Stampin' Up!®️ I think it is the simple, clear lines of this sweet stamp set. I shared how to create some vibrant cards with these stamps and the NEW Unbounded Beauty patterned paper.

Paper Piecing Technique

Here is the card that I made during this Thursday's YouTube Live. I set this beautiful tea pot of flowers on the quaint stool. 

For the teapot on this card, I used the paper piecing card making technique. Start by stamping the image on a piece of patterned paper. Then, cut it out! It's as easy as that and you have a colored image.

Vibrant Die-Cut Leaves

I know black isn't normally the color for greeting cards, but I love how it creates a dramatic look for this handmade card. I embossed the black background with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. 

I stamped and colored the milk pail with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. Then, I used the Country Flowers dies to cut leaves from the Unbounded Beauty patterned paper. I added them to the card front to make them look like they are tumbling out of the milk pail.

NEW 2024-2026 In Colors!

The Unbounded Beauty patterned paper uses Stampin' Up!'s NEW 2024-2026 In Colors. And let me tell you, I LOVE them too! 

I used Peach Pie for this card and combined it with Calypso Coral which are the colors that I pulled from the patterned paper. I also used the new Basic Beige for the layer under the focal point on this handmade card.

I colored the tea pot with light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends and then went over it with the Color Lifter. This gives it the mottled look that you can see.
