I love sending thank you cards! In fact, along with birthday cards, they are the type of card I send most often. Today, I have a floral thank you card sample for you using the new Blessings of Home stamp set and dies. This is a special sneak peek of a gorgeous new stamp set that will be in the January-June Mini Catalog.
This card is also part of the International Project Highlights sponsored by Kylie Bertucci. I hope you like my card enough to pop over to her website and vote for my card.
Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Blessings of Home Bundle
This bundle is part of a special collection of products that I could purchase as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I haven't seen the new January-June Mini Catalog yet, so I'm not sure if these products will be put together as a suite, but they work fabulously together.
For this thank you card, I only used the stamp set and dies, but there is also a gorgeous package of patterned paper and beautiful denim looking ribbon. I'm sure I'll be sharing lots more projects with this beautiful collection in the coming months.
This card is part of Kylie's International Blog Highlights Project. I hope you'll pop over to her website and vote for me. Plus, you can check out lots of other great thank you card ideas.
Thank you card design
For this handmade thank you card, I stamped the large floral image with Memento ink on Basic White cardstock. Then, I colored the image with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Pale Papaya, Crumb Cake, and Mint Macaron.
I also carefully outlined around the flowers with the light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend to help the white flowers pop even more.
A Thank You that Stands Out
I absolutely LOVE the font and layout of the sentiments in this stamp set. I stamped the thank you with Crumb Cake ink on Basic White and cut it with the Tasteful Labels dies. I also cut a piece of vellum cardstock with these dies to create a background under the sentiment.
For the background, I stamped the large floral image with Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. I also added a little splattering and brushed the ink pad on the edges.
The finishing touches on this handmade thank you card
I wrapped Pale Papaya and white ribbon around the front layer and tied the ends together with a little Linen Thread. Then, to add just a hint of bling, I added a few champagne rhinestones.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to watch for more samples using this fabulous stamp set and watch for it in the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog.
