For last night's Mystery Stamping, we created cards based on this fun card design featuring a split card background. I love how the you can see a peek of patterned paper where the card front has been cut in two. This creates a fun visual element across the card. If you haven't joined me for Mystery Stamping yet, I hope you'll join me next Tuesday at 8 PM Eastern in the On Y Go! Stamping group for another fun evening of quick card making. You can also watch the replay of last night's Mystery Stamping in the group. Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Fun Card Design for Any Stamp Set

For the thank you card above, I used the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and punch with the Pansy Patch patterned paper. The birthday card on the left uses the same patterned paper with the NEW Turtle Friends stamp set.

Creating this Handmade Thank You Card

To create this fun card design, I adhered the patterned paper to the card front. Then, I cut the piece of 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" cardstock into two pieces and adhered it over the patterned paper using Stampin' Dimensionals. For this thank you card, I used the Basic Borders dies to cut the cardstock giving a fun angled edge with stitching.
A split in the card front shows the fabulous Bloom Where You're Planted scrapbooking paper on this fun thank you card design. The plant on the front is from the Plentiful Plants stamp set.

Another Plant Thank You Card

Both of these cards use the Plentiful Plants stamp set and Bloom Where You're Planted patterned paper. The plants are stamped with Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent ink in Gray Granite pots.
