Sweet Songbirds Card Ideas

We had such a great time at last night's Card Class & Game night! We used the Sweet Songbirds stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!® to create three adorable cards! We even made a really cool fun fold card. Click on Read More below to see more photos and the supply list.

The Sweet Songbirds stamp set is a two-step stampin' set, but it has a lot more than two stamps for each image! This makes it really easy to make multi-colored images. You can choose a color for the bird, and different colors for its belly, wing, and beak.

A Sparkly Bird Card

The coordinating Songbird Builder punch can punch out the stamped image or create a bird all on its own. For this card, we punched the bird from the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer paper. This little bird sparkles and gleams. 

For the fun fold card below, I used the new Gingham Cottage patterned paper from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. To create the bird in the nest, I stamped the nest on a sticky note and cut out the top edge. Then, I stamped the nest on the card front and covered it with the sticky-note nest. I stamped the bird and then removed the sticky.
