Triangle Fold & Flip Fun Fold Cards

These triangle fold cards are so fun and easy to make! We made these fun fold cards for last night's Mystery Stamping event and I think they were a hit! Blueberry Fun Fold Card

This fun blueberry card uses the Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful patterned paper that is available FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2021. Be sure to get it quickly though, because Sale-A-Bration will soon be over. I love this stamp set because it reminds me of when we lived in Maine when my daughter was little and had a couple of very small blueberry plants growing by our driveway. She was so excited when the blueberries ripened!

This is a two step stamping stamp set, so there are stamps for the outside of the leaves, the outside of the blueberries, the inside of the leaves, and the inside of the blueberries. This makes it so easy to make a multi-colored image. I stamped the leaves with Garden Green ink. To get the insides of the leaves lighter, I stamped off on a piece of scrap paper before stamping them inside of the leaf outline. The blueberries are stamped in Night of Navy and Pacific Point.

Fun Fold Birthday Card Idea

This card uses the exact same design, but it's been flipped on its side. The patterned paper is the new Oh So Ombre paper that is also a Sale-A-Bration item and is FREE with a $50 purchase. I love the ombre look on this card front. The candles are from the Approaching Perfect stamp set (also a Sale-A-Bration item) and are stamped in Bermuda Bay to match the patterned paper. The sentiment is from the You Are Amazing stamp set. The word balloon is stamped with Daffodil Delight ink that I stamped off a couple of times to get a little lighter. The greeting is stamped with more Bermuda Bay ink.

Thank you Card with a Touch of Ink

My last fun fold card for you is a thank you card using the Touch of Ink stamp set and Flower & Field patterned paper. You've probably guessed already that both of these items are Sale-a-Bration items. The Touch of Ink stamp set is another two-step stamping set. Here, the inside images don't completely align with the outside images to create more of a watercolor look.

To get the two-tone look of the butterfly wings, I inked the center of the stamp first in Bumblebee ink. Then, I inked the outside portions with Poppy Parade and lightly tapped into the center. I also used a blending brush to push some of the Poppy Parade ink towards the center. This helped give it a softer blend of the two colors.
