Tutorial for an Easy Shutter Card

Since I'm on vacation, we had a special Stamp with Me event last night instead of the regular Mystery Stamping Tuesday. I think it was a fun way to make a card using supplies from your stash, while making a fun fold card that's a little trickier than what we would normally do for Mystery Stamping because we made this shutter card. Cutting Dimensions for a Shutter Card

• Cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2 1/8"
• Coordinating Cardstock: (2) 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
• Patterned Paper: 1 5/8" x 5"
• Coordinating Cardstock: 3" x 5 1/2"
• Patterned Paper: 2 3/4" x 5 1/4"
• White or Vanilla: 2 3/4" x 5 1/4"
• Cardstock: (2) 3 1/2" x 4", scored at 1/2"

Optional Front piece*:

• Cardstock: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
  
• Coordinating Cardstock: 2 3/4" x 4"

*These dimensions are for the squirrel card. The dimensions for the penguin card are slightly smaller as they are based on the size of the die.

Both of these sample card ideas use NEW stamp sets from the 2021 August-December Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! Nuts about Squirrels Card

The card sample from the video tutorial for a shutter card uses the NEW Nuts about Squirrels stamp set which is also from the 2021 August-December Mini Catalog. I love these little squirrels. They are too stinking cute! And there are some fun squirrelly greetings in this stamp set as well.

I've used the stamps with the Bloom Where You're Planted pattern paper which nicely matches the leaves that I have stamped. 

​The shutter card opens to reveal another sentiment inside.
