Well Suited Donkeys for him and her

The Darling Donkeys definitely live up to their name! They are too adorable and they work so nicely with the grays in the Well Suited patterned paper. The Darling Donkeys are FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2021, but you only have a week left to get them!

Darling Donkeys Cards in Gray and Pink

Whether you need a card for him or her, the Darling Donkeys have you covered. For my first card, I added a little Petal Pink cardstock with the Well Suited patterned paper to soften it up a little bit. I also added some champagne rhinestones for a little bling. On all of these cards, I used blending brushes on the edges of the patterned paper. 

Feeling Gray with Darling Donkey Card

This little donkey is all in gray. With the Well Suited patterned paper and some Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. I colored the donkey with Gray Granite stampin' Blends with just a hint of Seaside Spray inside his ears. I also added three Matte Black Dots for some masculine bling.

Cutting Dimensions for These Gray and Pink Donkeys

These two cards have basically the same dimensions, I just flipped the card and for the gray card, I added a 1" strip of an additional patterned paper.
Basic Gray cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Basic Gray / Petal Pink cardstock: 2 3/4" x 4", cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies
Basic White cardstock: 2 3/4" x 4 1/8"
​Patterned paper: 5 1/4" x 4"

Darling Donkesy in a field of flowers or tweed

Here is the exact same card layout using the Darling Donkeys and Well Suited patterned paper, but one uses some florals and a little blue while the other one has tweed and gray.

You might notice that there are very light stars in the background. These are from the Darling Donkeys stamp set. On this gray card, I stamped them with Basic Gray ink, but I stamped it off twice on some scrap paper before stamping them on the card. ​

Basic Black / Night of Navy cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Basic Gray / Pacific Point cardstock: 5 3/16" x 3 15/16"
Checked pattern paper:

• 5" x 3 3/4"
• 3" x 3" (circle)
• 2" x 2" (circle)
• 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (circle)

Basic White cardstock: 2" x 2" and scraps
