Wintery Greeting Cards with the Yeti to Party Stamp Set

Have I told you how much I love this Yeti to Party stamp set from Stampin' Up!? It's great for making holiday cards, but it's also perfect for making wintery birthday cards or thinking of you cards or even a Valentine's day card. That fuzzy big foot is just so cute and has so many fun accessories to help him celebrate.

Winter Hugs for a Cold Day

The full sentiment stamp says "Holiday Hugs," but I left out the holiday to create a perfect little thinking of you card that you could send this winter. It's perfect for letting someone know that you're thinking of them while the snow swirls. Our yeti friend is carrying a heart and a steaming cup of coffee, cocoa, or tea. 

I started by embossing the background. Then, I brushed my white ink pad over it to make the mountains and snow stand out a little more. I stamped the yeti with my Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad and colored him with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. Adding a little gray just inside the lines really helps this Big Foot pop.

Christmas Fun Fold

For this fun fold card,  I did create a Christmas card. This fun fold card is simple to make. I love the way the black helps the Polished Pink really pop. I added a little Polished Pink to the yeti's cheeks and the bird's belly to tie in with the Celebrate Everything patterned paper. 

A Yeti Birthday Card

Of course, we had to make a birthday card with this adorable yeti. For the previous two cards, I fussy cut the yeti. This card is much simpler! I just stamped the yeti with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then, I stamped the accessories and the sentiment directly on the cardstock as well. 

I colored the yet and his accessories with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers like the previous cards. The scrapbook paper for the background is from the new Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper which will be available exclusively in January & February as a FREE Sale-A-Bration 2023 item. It gorgeous! So bright and fun. It's definitely one to not miss.
