I have lots of scraps of patterned paper left over from Christmas cards, so I decided to make up a bunch of gift tags. This is also a great way to use up extra die-cut pieces and bits of ribbon.
I primarily used the Peaceful Place and Whimsy & Wonder patterned papers from Stampin' Up! I created a number of bases for the tags and then decorated them with this and that.
So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Each of these tags uses the Tailor Made Tag dies for the base. I adhered small strips of patterned paper to cardstock and then cut the tags. This way the faux stitching on the edges is on the patterned paper as well as the cardstock.
The scrappy strip card making technique is so quick and easy to do. And so much fun too! I love being able to show off beautiful patterned paper like the Painted Christmas and Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper.
We did this technique for last night's Mystery Stamping event in the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook group. I hope you'll join us next week Tuesday at 8pm Eastern for another round of Mystery Stamping.
Be sure to read all the way through this post because I have samples using NEW papers and stamps from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration 2022 Catalog. Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Tuesday, we stamped and played games in the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook group for the November Card Class & Game Night. This month, we made three cards with the Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember stamp sets from Stampin' Up!
If you missed it, I hope you'll join me on January 25, 2022 for the next Card Class & Game Night. We'll be using the new Sweet Conversations stamp set. Watch for more details coming soon!
Be sure to read through my whole post to see all the samples and supply lists. Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Whether you want to make a super simple Christmas card, a fun birthday card, or a fancy holiday card, the Peaceful Place patterned paper is the perfect solution. It's so elegant! I have three fabulous handmade card ideas to share with you today.
I'm also hopping with the fabulous cardmakers of the Pretty Cards & Papers International Design Team. This month, we've created some awesome projects with the Peaceful Place patterned paper. It was hard to tear myself away from all my stamps and papers that arrived yesterday (you can check out the video here), but this patterned paper is so beautiful that I was soon happily crafting away some fun wintry cards.
After you've seen my card samples, be sure to read through to the bottom for the list of designer's blog. If you live in the US and need stamps, inks, papers, and more, I would love to help you! Email me or leave me a comment if you have questions.
I give so many gift cards at Christmas and I love being able to give them in pretty packaging! This gift card holder is so easy to make and it's as pretty on the back as it is on the front because the patterned paper wraps all around the outside.
We made this gift card holder for last night's Mystery Stamping over in the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook group. You can pop over there to see the replay if you'd like, and I have all of the cutting dimensions and supply lists for you below.
