Double Pocket Fun Fold Card with FREE Card Making Tutorial

This double pocket fun fold card is so quick and easy to make! It uses an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of patterned paper and has two pockets in the front to tuck messages, gift cards, candy, or another small surprise. 

If you missed this week's Stamp with Me Tuesday, you'll want to watch the replay to see exactly how to do this fold. It's easy, but a little hard to explain without showing it, ya know?

To create this fun fold card, start by scoring each side in the middle (at 5 1/2" and 4 1/4"). Then, lay the patterned paper in front of you vertically. Cut the left score line to the center. That's all the cutting and scoring. The rest is folding and a little bit of adhesive. Don't worry, if you're confused already, I go through it step by step in the video and I have a diagram in the tutorial.

My first sample card idea uses the Happier Than Happy stamp set from Stampin' Up!® It makes an adorable baby card filled with woodland creatures. I stamped three different animals on each layer. How cute is that!

Thinking of You Double Pocket Fun Fold Card

I love combining patterned paper with different stamp sets from the ones designed to coordinate with it. Here I used the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Sending Smiles stamp set. I haven't use Fresh Freesia very much, but I couldn't resist this beautiful Fresh Freesia foiled paper and I think the card turned out beautifully. I think I may need to start using more Fresh Freesia!
