Handmade Thank You Card for Summer

Do you love the way that the Lemon Lolly cardstock pops with the vibrant Berry Burst and Pumpkin Pie?! This card just seems to scream summer!

I started by stamping the orange slices in Pumpkin Pie ink on a piece of the Stargazing patterned paper. Then, I stamped the oranges on Lemon Lolly cardstock, the flowers on Bubble Bath, and the leaves on Soft Sea Foam. I love how stamping on colored cardstock gives it a different look.

Zesty Handmade Birthday Card

This stamp set also has a coordinating hybrid embossing folder and die set combo. This means, that you can stamp the citrus fruit, emboss it with the embossing folder, and cut it out with the dies. It gives it a really cool dimensional look.

I also used the new Nested Essentials dies on these cards. I used it for the banner in the card above and the sentiment strip on this card. These dies are really cool and I think I'll be using them a lot!

The background for this birthday card is similar to the one that I did with the wet stamping technique. You can see how this one is more distinct.

Quick & Easy Birthday Card

This birthday card was so quick and easy to make! I think it took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish.

I started by cutting 1" off the front of my card. Then, on a separate piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the limes in Lemon Lime Twist. I cut them out along the top and bottom edge and stamped the sentiment. Then, I adhered the limes to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals on the top edge. Finally, I popped a strip of the Stargazing pattered paper on the inside of my card and added a few pearls as embellishment.
