Handmade Cards for Guys with the Let's Set Sail Stamp Set

I love the Let's Set Sail stamp set and coordinating Sailboat Builder punch! It is great for making masculine cards or cards for anyone. For the April card class and game night, I paired it with the Waves Designer Series Paper. Be sure to grab this fabulous patterned paper before it's gone! It's perfect for so many water themed cards and it will be discontinued in May.

Simply Sailing Card Idea for Any Occasion 

Because there is no sentiment on the front of this handmade card, it's perfect for any occasion. You can add one of the sentiments from the stamp set to the inside of the card or choose something different entirely.

I stamped the sailboat in Soft Suede and Coastal Cabana on a piece of Basic White cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. I layered it on pieces of the Waves Designer Series Paper and added a bit of Denim ribbon to the front.

Let's Set Sail Fun Fold Card Idea

This is a quick and easy fun fold card design. It is a gate-fold card with a folded back flap on each side. Plus, it has a belly band that wraps around the front.

To create the circle behind the sailboat, I cut a circle from the Waves Designer Series paper with the Layering Circle dies. Then, I trimmed 1/4-1/3 off the bottom and flipped it over. This makes the circle Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral on the top and Pacific Point and Night of Navy on the bottom. I love the way this looks like a sunset over the water.

The sailboat is stamped with Soft Suede and Pacific Point inks. The Navy circle and the Basic White circle are both cut with the new Stylish Shapes dies. These dies are available in the upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up!® which will be available on May 3rd. If you need a catalog, be sure to request one here.

Adventure Awaits Card Design

This might be my favorite card design with the Let's Set Sail stamp set. I love this color combination of Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Calypso Coral. It makes me think of summer at the ocean or lake, watching sailboats float by on the water.

I cut the clouds using the Cloud punch. I love this punch! I added the sentiment on one of the clouds and adhered it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
