Handmade Thank You Card Ideas for Winter

A couple of weeks ago, I had a Pampered Chef party. It was lots of fun and I wanted to send some thank you cards to all those who participated. So, I created this clean and simple snowflake card with a thank you message on the inside.

I used the Wintery embossing folder, So Many Snowflakes dies, and Snowflake Wishes stamp set. I have all the measurements and supply lists for you below.

Glittery Simplicity in this Thank You Card Design

This card is so sparkly! Yet, it has a clean and simple design. Unfortunately, all of the glorious texture doesn't show up well in the photos.

I cut the snowflakes with the So Many Snowflakes dies and the Be Dazzling paper that I had left from the August & September Sale-a-Bration. I love how pretty this paper is and it was perfect for the snowflake accents.

Beautifully Embossed Thank You Card

I embossed the Basic White cardstock with the Wintry embossing folder. Then, I layered it on a second piece of Basic White cardstock before using Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere them to the card base made of Basic White Thick cardstock. 

I used my Wink of Stella pen to added a little extra glitter to the embossed wind swirls. I pushed the wink of stella "ink" out of the pen into a puddle so that I could put it on a little thicker than normal which also gives it a little color.

Matching Envelopes and Card Interior

Using Soft Suede ink, I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card using the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. For the snowflakes on the bottom edge and on the envelope, I stamped off twice on scrap paper before stamping on the project.

Basic White Thick cardstock (base): 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White: 4 5/8" x 3 3/8"
Basic White: 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Be Dazzling Paper: 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
