May Online Card Class: Pretty Handmade Cards with the Country Flowers Stamps

I love the simple lines of the Country Flowers stamp set! And the mix and match possibilities of putting different flowers and plants in the milk pail and teapot.

Pretty Floral Card for a Bestie

When was the last time you sent a beautiful card to one of your besties? Here's a simple floral card that is perfect for showing how much you appreciate your friends.

I used the Country Woods patterned paper as the simple backdrop for these floral images. For the focal image of the flowers in the teapot, I used the Stylish Shapes and Deckled Circle dies. I love how these two sets of dies work together for beautiful layers.

Simple Fun Fold Card

Here is a simple handmade card that is easy to make. I used a piece cut with the Nested Essentials dies as the flap on the front of the card. The Linen Thread does not tie the card shut, but serves as just a bit of tension to hold the flap shut. 

After I colored the milk mail with Stampin' Blends, I created a mask so that I could stamp the pattern on it with Pool Party ink. I love the tone on tone effect this gives! I stamped the same small pattern stamp on the back of the card base. 

Simply Sweet Flowers

This card uses the flowers from the Country Flowers stamp set to create a simply sweet backdrop for the sentiment. 

I stamped the flowers on Basic Beige cardstock and colored them with Stampin' Blends. For the base of the card, I embossed a piece of Basic Beige cardstock with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder.

For the sentiment, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock with the Unbounded Love dies. I love the sweet scallops on this die-cut piece.
