I was so excited to see the Stronger Together stamp set in Stampin' Up!'s® Annual Catalog! I love Stampin' Up! and their stamps, but they don't usually have stamps that actually have people who look like they are BIPOC. So, these stamps feel like a huge step! I'm really hoping to see more diversity in their images.
During my YouTube live, I shared how to use the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers to color these images of people, including using the new Natural Tones blends (p. 128). If you missed it, you can catch the replay from this post. I have a great downloadable chart that you can grab for FREE below that will allow you to color swatch out the Natural Tones Blends. It's really helpful for when you have a specific look in mind or are trying to make your image look like a specific person.
And of course, you'll find the link to the complete supply list below as well.
If you know me, I love card sketches for making quick and easy cards, and this one is a great one! These cards are so easy to make with just stamps, ink, paper, and a little ribbon.
Whether you want to make a baby card, a birthday card, or a just because card, it will work this sketch. For these samples, I've used the Let's Set Sail, Catch You Later, and Artfully Layered stamp sets.
You'll find the card sketch, all the cutting dimensions, and the supply list for these sample cards below. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Monochromatic cards are often very simple, but these monochromatic handmade cards step things up a bit. I love the beautiful monochromatic papers in the Friendly Hello bundle. There are also colored patterns, but the black, white, and color of these papers is absolutely gorgeous!
The Friendly Hello bundle is so pretty and easy to use. Plus, you can get it free with a $100 order through the end of February 2022. (That's coming up soon though, so don't miss out!)
I shared so many different tips and techniques for creating these cards during my weekly YouTube live, including heat embossing and paper piecing. If you missed the live, you'll want to go back and watch the replay to see exactly how to make these cards.
You'll find all of the dimensions and supply lists for these cards below.
The Layering Hugs stamp set from Stampin' Up!® is absolutely beautiful! I love the dies that coordinate with the stamp and I especially love the way you can die-cut the word HUGS to layering onto the stamped image. I have a few different handmade card ideas for you using this fabulous stamp set.
I'm also going to talk about coloring on vellum. If you'd like to see exactly how I made this card, be sure to watch the video. I shared lots up tips for using vellum on your handmade cards.
I also have a few "non-stamping" ideas for the coordinating Layering Hugs dies. I paired them with the Symbols of Fortune patterned paper. You're going to love them!
The new All Together suite of products is so awesome! The suite includes the Here Together stamp set, dies, All Together patterned paper, and NEW Natural Tones Collection Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. The patterned paper is filled with 24 different black and white patterns. They are perfect for using as they are or coloring with the Stampin' Blends. The Natural Tones Stampin' Blends have 10 different alcohol markers available in sets of 2 or as a full set. They are going to be perfect for color images of people.
The stamps and paper are only available until the end of April, but the new Natural Tones Stampin' Blends will be in the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
PLUS, when you purchase any 2 items from the All Together Suite from me in the month of February, you will receive a free tutorial pack with instructions for makin 6 cards with the suite.
