Floral Card Ideas with Patterned Paper

I love the You're a Peach patterned paper. So much so that you've seen me use it here and here and here. Today, I decided to pair this gorgeous paper with the Pierced Blooms dies and In Bloom stamp set to make some beautiful floral cards for summer.

Floral Thank You Card

For this card, I cut the flowers and leaves from cardstock. For some of them, I used a blending brush to add a little extra color to the outside edges. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Crumb Cake: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Pale Papaya: 5 3/16" x 3 15/16"
Basic White: 5" x 3 3/4"
polka dot You're a Peach patterned paper: 5" x 3 3/4"
striped You're a Peach patterned paper: 2" x 5"
Plus scraps of Basic White, Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, and Pear Pizzazz for flowers and sentiment.

Handmade Wedding Card Bursting with Flowers

This handmade wedding card is bursting with flowers. I cut the pieces from the You're a Peach patterned paper to give the flowers and leaves a little something extra. I love how fun the polka dot flowers are! The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set.

Calypso Coral: 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
Calypso Coral: 3" x 4 3/8" cut with Stitched Rectangle dies
striped You're a Peach patterned paper: 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White: 2 3/4" x 4 1/8"

Simple handmade card

Like the first sample card, I cut the flowers and leaves from cardstock. I added extra color to the outside edges with a blending brush and the same color ink as the cardstock.

Another congratulations card idea

You  might have noticed that this congratulations card is the same as the previous wedding card, it's just been flipped on its side. This was the first card that I made and I intended it to look like the sample card shown earlier. But, I didn't stamp the sentiment first and it didn't fit right when I finished. So, I just turned it on its side. What do you think? Does the card work better vertically or horizontally?
